Haydn Gwynne is reunited with Stephen Daldry, having played Mrs Wilkinson in the world premiere of Billy Elliot The Musical, in London (Olivier Award nomination) and on Broadway (Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theater World Awards for Best Actress in a musical and Tony Award nomination). Other theatre includes: Richard III - Bridge Project production (Old Vic, World Tour and BAM Harvey Theater, New York), Duet For One (UK Tour), City Of Angels (Olivier Award nomination), The Memory Of Water (Hampstead Theatre), Becky Shaw (Almeida Theatre), The Recruiting Officer (Royal Exchange Theatre), Hedda Gabler (Bolton Octagon), Company (Donmar Warehouse West End concerts in celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s 80th birthday) and numerous appearances with the Royal Shakespeare Company, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, Peer Gynt and The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Television includes: lead roles in Peak Practice, Merseybeat, Nice Work and Drop The Dead Donkey (winner of three Royal Television Society Awards for Best Actress and nominations for a British Comedy Award and BAFTA), Rome (HBO), The Secret (BBC) and was most recently seen guest starring in Sherlock, Midsomer Murders and New Tricks. Her other numerous television includes: Poirot, Lewis, Consenting Adults, Absolute Power, Dalziel and Pascoe, Hospital!, Time Riders, After The War and The Merchant Of Venice.

Film includes: Remember Me, The Pleasure Principle, These Foolish Things and, most recently, Hunky Dory.
